What age is KodeBytes suitable for?

KodeBytes is designed for children aged 7-13. The puzzles start simple and gradually increase in complexity, making it suitable for complete beginners through to more experienced young coders.

How much does KodeBytes cost?

KodeBytes is free to download with 20 free challenges (Sequences and Loops). Premium access to all 100 challenges is available for £3.99/month or £24.99/year, with a 1-week free trial. Family Sharing is included with all subscriptions.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings:

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
2. Tap your Apple ID at the top
3. Tap Subscriptions
4. Select KodeBytes
5. Tap Cancel Subscription

Can I use KodeBytes on multiple devices?

Yes! Your subscription is linked to your Apple ID, so you can use KodeBytes on any iPhone or iPad signed in with the same Apple ID. With Family Sharing enabled, up to 6 family members can share a single subscription.

Is my child's data safe?

Absolutely. KodeBytes does not collect any personal information. There are no accounts to create, no ads, and no third-party tracking. Progress is stored locally on the device only. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.

Does KodeBytes work offline?

Yes! All challenges work without an internet connection. An internet connection is only needed to purchase or restore subscriptions.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

If you've reinstalled the app or got a new device:

1. Open KodeBytes
2. Tap on any locked concept to open the paywall
3. Tap Restore Purchases at the bottom
4. Sign in with your Apple ID if prompted
